August 16, 2025 Community Care Day Information

In light of district-wide budget cuts and the current funding freeze, our team is experiencing reduced capacity and this event will not be coordinated by the district for August 2025.

If your èßäÊÓƵ wants to self-organize an event:
    • Staff need to complete a Civic Use of Buildings (CUB) permit by 8/1 in order to:
      • Receive waste services to haul away collected yard debris after your event.
      • Have Custodian time is covered by PPS Maintenance if you complete a CUB.
    • .
    • Volunteer tasks include pruning, weeding and picking up litter.
    • Volunteers need to complete a liability waiver upon arrival at your event. You can download waivers from the right-hand column of this webpage.

No events will take place the weekend before èßäÊÓƵ starts (8/23 - 8/24). Permits submitted for that weekend will not be approved, and no waste services will be available. School sites will be financially responsible for waste left onsite for an unapproved date.

We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenges.
