• IYLC Middle School Culture Jam 2018-19

    The ESL Department is proud to announce that recruitment will begin for our 2nd Annual IYLC Middle School Culture Jam to be held on April 30 at OMSI. We will offer our 8th Grade Emergent Bilingual Students a day of facilitated workshops designed to enhance their leadership and communication skills, celebrate their contributions to our culture and community, and prepare them for the transition to high èßäÊÓƵ.

    Highlights from Culture Jam 2017-18

    A huge thank you to all of the middle  Ã¨ßäÊÓƵ teachers and èßäÊÓƵ who attended our first Culture Jam! Our èßäÊÓƵ bravely showcased their talents via song, dance, and art. Workshops on app programming, breaking stereotypes, and the transition to high èßäÊÓƵ all  got some great feedback on our survey. And a few excited èßäÊÓƵ went home with a Google Home Mini. Your feedback has been helpful in our plans to Culture Jam 2019 even more impactful!
