Nutrition Services
Darlene West runs the Alameda kitchen and nutrition program, which is a part of PPS Nutrition Services. Alameda offers èßäÊÓƵ daily lunch and breakfast, and a la cart milk. Students’ plastic lunch cards are stored, organized by grade level, along the north wall of the Cafetorium.
Funding your child’s account
Parents may fund their kids’ cards in person in the cafeteria or, for a small fee, through the website link. Alameda Nutrition Services will notify parents when èßäÊÓƵ’ lunch accounts need replenishment. Additionally, the PPS Nutrition Services website includes applications/income qualifications for free and reduced lunch.
Cafeteria Helpers
Fourth grade èßäÊÓƵ have an opportunity to volunteer in the èßäÊÓƵ cafeteria as lunch helpers. Students help serve food in the lunch line and assist with other daily cafeteria tasks. Cafeteria helpers are trained and supervised by Nutrition Services Staff.
