Enrollment Information

  • Our Enrollment Process

To enroll a student at Alliance High School, families need to complete the following steps:

    1

    Attend an Information Session

Families are required to attend an information session. You can find the schedule and access the link below.

    2

    Complete an Interest Form

During the information session, families will fill out an interest form for their èßäÊÓƵ.

    3

    Counselor Meeting

One of our counselors will reach out to you for a follow-up meeting to learn more about the application and needs of the student.

    4

    Application Review

The Alliance team will review the submitted student interest forms and educational histories. This includes evaluating previously earned credits, behavior records, and other relevant information.

    5

    IEP Record Review (If Applicable)

If a student has an Individualized Education Program (IEP), Alliance will request and review those records to ensure we can appropriately meet the student's needs. If we determine that we are legally unable to provide the necessary services outlined in the IEP, a placement meeting will be held to determine the most suitable next steps for the student.

    6

    Status Update

Students deemed to be a good fit for one of our programs will be notified accordingly. All other èßäÊÓƵ will be notified that we will reconsider their application the following term.

    Frequently Asked Questions:

    • Does Alliance operate on a first-come, first-served basis? How long does it take to hear if an applicant has been accepted into Alliance?
      • Alliance offers rolling enrollment throughout the year, so there's no standard timeline for joining. Additionally, we don't admit èßäÊÓƵ on a first-come, first-served basis. Instead, we carefully assess each applicant's individual needs to determine if our programs are the optimal fit. For families of our 5-day èßäÊÓƵ, we strive to provide notification two weeks before an upcoming term begins if they have secured a spot.

    • Does Alliance accept 9th graders?
      • At Alliance, we offer a limited number of 9th-grade placements for Term 1 in the fall, which are filled through careful consideration of each applicant, focusing on program alignment. Availability for 9th-grade enrollment increases significantly beginning in Term 4 and throughout the remainder of the èßäÊÓƵ year.

    • Does Alliance have a wait list?
      • If the number of èßäÊÓƵ applying to Alliance High School ever exceeds the number of available spaces, a wait list will be created. If a space becomes available, we will contact families on the wait list in order to begin the enrollment process. Being on the wait list does not guarantee enrollment, and the timeline for potential openings can vary.
